Govt pig farm Hoshiarpur is situated on Hoshiarpur - Tanda road 6 km from Distt headquarter in the village Kheowal (Chadial). The farm started it's functioning on 8/12/17. The farm compromises of 2 sheds constructed under National Livestock Mission scheme with the capacity of (54 Female +6 Male) adult pigs per shed. Other construction work is in progress. The main aim of farm is to serve the farmers by means of extension of knowledge regarding pig farming and providing piglets at subsidized rate.
