Govt. Goat Breeding Farm, Kotkapura district Faridkot was established on Dec.9,2017 with a total strength of 37 does and 3 bucks. It is situated in the heart of city, inside the Veterinary Hospital Complex & spread over 6 Acres of land. Only pure black coloured  Beetal breed goats are being reared at this farm.

          At This farm, the goats are reared in fully Intensive System. Purpose of this farm is to promote pure breed animals among the rural masses and to impart training to educated youth in goat rearing and set up their own ventures to eradicate the problem of un-employment & socio-economic development of rural people.
